A longer-lasting finish
Repairs and an open profile help any coating or tile system perform as intended.
Cracks, pits and spalled patches repaired and the slab ground to a clean profile, so any coating, tile or sealer has something solid to hold onto.

A coating cannot fix a failing slab. Cracks reflect through, loose concrete lifts and contaminated surfaces repel the very product meant to bond to them. Proper prep is repair first, then a ground, clean, dry surface.
We follow cracks, fill them with a flexible or rigid repair material suited to the type of movement, patch pits and spalled areas and level small dips. Then the whole floor is diamond ground and vacuumed. This is the unglamorous step that decides how long the finished floor lasts.
The steps for crack repair & concrete prep, in the order they happen.
Cracks, spalls, joints and low spots are marked and classed by whether they move.
Cracks are opened, cleaned and filled, and spalled or pitted areas are patched and leveled.
A diamond grinder removes laitance and old coatings and opens the concrete.
Dust is vacuumed, oils are treated and the surface is checked before a finish goes on.
Repairs and an open profile help any coating or tile system perform as intended.
Patched and leveled areas disappear under the final floor.
Problems are found and fixed before they show up through a new floor.
Prep is the same foundation for coatings, polishing and tiles.
Hairline cracks that do not move are usually well managed with proper repair. Active cracks can reflect, and we explain the options before you decide.
Diamond grinding creates a more consistent profile and removes contaminants, which is why it is the standard for lasting coatings.
Many can be treated, though deeply soaked oil can resist full removal. We test and tell you the likely result.
