01 What cure means
A coating moves through stages: tacky, dry to touch, light foot traffic, vehicle traffic and full chemical cure. The surface may feel dry long before it reaches full hardness. Using the floor too early can mark or weaken it.

02 Typical timelines
Fast polyaspartic systems can permit foot traffic within hours and vehicles within a day or so. Traditional epoxy systems commonly need longer, with several days before cars return and a week or more for full chemical cure. These are general patterns, not promises.
Ask your installer for the product’s data.
03 Temperature and humidity
Cold slows curing, and heat speeds it. High humidity can affect some products. Installers adjust the plan for the weather, and a heater or fans may be used.
Keep the garage door closed during early cure unless advised otherwise.
04 Protect the new floor
Keep sharp objects, heavy dragging, spills and water off the floor in the first days. Put cardboard or felt under items at first. Avoid harsh cleaners until fully cured.
Turn the wheels gently and avoid hot sharp turns on day one.
? Common questions
How soon can I park a car?
The product decides. Fast systems may allow it in a day, traditional systems take longer.
Can I put cabinets on it right away?
Wait for the recommended cure so heavy items do not mark the floor.
What if it rains during cure?
Keep water off. Installers plan around the weather.
