01 Chip flake
Chip flake is scattered into the wet base coat, creating a speckled look in blends of color. It hides dust, small blemishes and slab flaws very well. The texture adds grip, and flake density can be tuned from light to full coverage.
It is the most popular decorative style.
02 Metallic epoxy
Metallic pigments swirl through a clear or tinted resin to produce depth, movement and marbled patterns. No two floors are alike. The finish is smooth and glossy, which shows dust more and needs a flat slab and skilled installers.
It is the showpiece choice.
03 Solid color
A solid color coating is clean and uniform, and it is often the lowest cost of the three. It shows dirt, tire marks and slab imperfections more than flake. A light color brightens the garage, a mid gray hides more.
It suits modern, minimal looks.
04 Choosing
Choose flake for a forgiving, lived-in garage. Choose metallic for a showroom floor. Choose solid for a clean, modern look. Samples viewed in the garage light make the decision easier.
